Who we are
A highly-talented, dedicated group of food service pros guided by the belief that the only way to cook food is to cook it perfectly. While other establishments may seek to crank out catering orders, we have discovered that a smaller, craft-centered boutique approach to cooking and catering is what makes our clients - and ourselves - the most satisfied. We love what we do, and we do it with excellence.
What we do
Simply put, we create and cater the most flavor-forward meals we possibly can in order to satisfy and amaze our clients and their guests at the finest events in metro Detroit. Our small team approaches every event like it’s the most important party of the year for us - because for our clients it often IS the most important party of the year. The Flavor Lab aims to make you look like a party-planning magician when you retain our services, and our 5-star rating is proof that we know how to make it happen consistently, and with flavor and friendliness.
Where we cater
We hail from the lovely town of Rochester and cater throughout the great state of Michigan, taking tastiness along everywhere we travel. You can find us practicing our craft at public or private venues, homes, parks, businesses, beaches, community centers, churches, stadiums, yachts, farms and markets all over southeast Michigan - and we are one of the few gourmet caterers serving the Thumb region of Michigan. We also have relationships with several local venues including the Rochester Community House and 2GatherMore event venue. We’re any where the good times and good eats are!

Our past client list ranges from soccer moms to Super Bowl MVPs - really! We treat every client like a celebrity, catering each menu to match the theme and tastes appropriate for your event - no party feast is too unique for us to cater!
